Post-Reflow Inspection
The Teradyne Optima 7300 Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) System
offers RTD
the fastest throughput, average of 20 seconds per board, while
allowing 100% optical inspection
of solder joint integrity and bridging, along
with missing, tombstoned, billboard, skewed,
and correct components. The
Optical Character Verification (OCV) allows inspection of
component polarity,
correct part and orientation. Statistical Process Control (SPC) data
is
collected for data analysis and SPC control charting. Rework Information
is sent through
RTD's internal computer network to computers on the rework
benches eliminating the need
for labeling errors and allowing secondary
inspection for false positives prior to rework.
