Description:

The CMT6104HR holds a compact PCMCIA hard drive or Flash drive. The drive can be used in two ways. If you already have an IDE controller in your PC/104 stack, you can cable it to the CMT6104HR via a standard 40-pin DIL connector and ribbon cable. Otherwise you can use the CMT6104HR to decode IDE directly from the PC/104 bus.

An LED indicates drive activity while a master/slave jumper allows two CMT6104HRs (and two drives) to be used in one PC/104 stack. Protection components reduce the possibility of drive damage due to reversed power-supply polarity, over-current, or over-voltage.

The CMT6104HR is recommended for use with 1.8 inch hard disk drives and FlashDisks that support "True IDE" Mode. Note that the CMT6104HR will only work with IDE-compatible, ATA-type, PCMCIA hard disk drives and Flash drives. It will not operate with any other PCMCIA cards. Direct plug connection to other modules is made through a standard PC/104 AT bus stackthrough connector.
