MIL-C-38999 -
Standard connector offering environment-resistant to sand, dust,
and ice. Operating temperature
range -65°C to 175°C. Designed to operate between sea level to
100,000 ft. above sea level.

EMI shielding
greater than 90dB @ 100 MHz and greater than 65dB @ 10 GHz.

Corrosion-resistant
shells of aluminum alloy with cadmium over nickel. Insulator is
made of high grade plastic, contacts are copper alloy with gold
plating, and sealing is accomplished using a jam nut receptacle
with a silicone base elastomer grommet. The mounting jam nut is
an aluminum alloy.

contacts, MIL-I-81969 application tools and MIL-STD 1560 insert
arrangements.
Rear release crimp snap-in contacts.

Shell size is 17
with 55 #22 pins, an outside diameter of 1.101" and extends from
the HiDAN approximately 0.720".

These connectors
have polarizing key for alignment and to prevent similar mating
connectors from being
mated to the wrong connector.
