Description
The SER25316HR and SER35316HR Synchronous/Asynchronous Serial Port modules are flexible solutions to serial communication requirements. They provide four ports that are compatible with SDLC, HDLC, Asynchronous, and many other communications protocols. Software-selectable signaling levels allows integration with RS‑232, RS‑422, and RS‑485 systems. Direct Memory Access (DMA) to the host provide for efficient data transport, and allow operating at up to 9.6 Mbps with minimal overhead. The SER25316HR and SER35316HR are Universal PCIe/104 boards that use a PCIe x1 link.
